Titre : Data collection on the impact of armed conflict on children: Displacement & recruitment: Comparative report Type de document : document électronique Editeur : Kinshasa Gombe : Commission Européenne Importance : 142 p. Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : enfants/conflits/recrutement/personnes déplacées/réhabilitation Résumé : This comparative report represents a synthesis of materials gathered in Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Colombia and Sri Lanka, and highlights the main findings. It analyzes the diversity of contexts in which the research was undertaken and examines the commonalities and differences between the various case studies. The report is organized in two parts: Part 1 presents the project and the context in which it was developed in the four target countries. Here it examines the project's conceptual framework, its methodologies and implementation strategies. Part 2 focuses on the research findings and analyzes both the qualitative and quantitative materials produced throughout the project. Three main chapters comprise this part: one on child recruitment, a second on displacement and a third on the rehabilitation and social reintegration in the aftermath of war. Finally, the conclusion presents a synopsis of the main contributions of this study and highlights a few key areas that will require further
